And so it began...

My intention for this blog is for it to be a record of my gaming experiences, trials, tribulations and painting and modelling efforts.

Flames of War Fallschirmjager army for sale

Since my hobby is supposed to be self funding to get more impetus armies (or maybe new surfboard) I need to free up some funds. So reluctantly I offer up for sale my Fallschirmjager army. Fully painted to a very high standard it contains an armoured element with Marders and armoured cars (which I found very useful). I will also throw in a Flames of War mini rule book (the A5 version) plus templates and lots of tokens I made up just for the Fallschirmjager. I have quite a few left over figures for extra bases such as extra standard troops, HMG (x 3), mortar (x 1) plus another Marder which are unpainted. Quite a few of the infantry stands have fun conversions on which add abit of X factor to the army. It was a mission to paint but looks great on the table.
The asking price is $375 plus postage

Roman camel riders

Here is my latest addition to my eastern roman army, camels!! When I saw the models I loved them so have slightly pushed the boundaries and am using them as CM without their camel ability. Means I can field more stands otherwise I would be limited to one stand of CL as allies. Just have to put some static grass on the base but have exhausted my current stash.

Romans on bases

Well made abit of a dent in my Roman army. Four stands painted and just stuck on bases. Took me most of Friday and Saturday but got there. I have two stands of skirmishers I will paint up tonight to complete a good few days. Next big job is four stands of spear, 32 figures, which I hope to finish by the end of next week. After that just six stands of cavalry and my baggage plus a few casualty markers.
